It's always hard to say goodbye, And usually tears shed from one's eye. It isn't easy to just "simply let go" The pain of losing a loved one, The tears start to flow. A friend or family are the ones you truly love, God sent them to be with us, They are friends which I call angels, That are sent from heaven above. It's not an easy thing, To bid someone you love farewell, But friends remain in your heart always, Even though you might not be able to tell. Friends are the people that you never forget, They are like a scar, but a good one thats a fact, They somehow never fade away, I love having a friend like that. I wish that you didn't have to leave, But I realize that the time is here, but I don't want you to leave though, I am starting to cry, I want you to stay, But I know I have to let go. *Here is My final Goodbye to my best friend Ryan. Always remember me and stay the same always. Don't ever stop being Ryan.* |

A very heartfelt read to your friend. I think you are going to be surprised how you will carry that friendship with you forever, and he will too. ~* Reality is an illusion ~ albeit a persistant one *~ |

Some things are more final than others...be grateful that someone came into your life, if only for a short time... |

Thanks for the replies, a few days after I posted this poem, Ryan wrote me a letter telling me that he had made it to where he moved to safe and that we will always be friends. It was a heartwarming moment! LP |
