'neath Odin's tree the raven slept, and to my passing eye, Chronos himself, as on he crept did seem to pass him by. No breeze did stir those feathers black, nor season seemed to mark its passing on the raven's back, in that near total dark. Who knows how long the raven lay 'neath his old master's tree. What sights were seen in ancient day, by this black bird I see. What battles fought, what heroes fierce, what glorious feats of yore? Perhaps he saw the valkyries come flying to the war. Due to circumstances beyond your control, you are master of your fate and captain of your soul. |

Hey all! been awhile since I posted here.... The angry bard has been quite busy with school, which leaves me stifled for creativity. this was written over a period of a month, if you can believe it. one verse at a time. it's nowhere near finished, and I don't know what I'm trying to say by writing it, but I thought I'd post it here and see some replies. Comments welcome, please! Due to circumstances beyond your control, you are master of your fate and captain of your soul. |

Thanks, EG. I wish I could finish it, but I seem to go blank whenever I think about it. maybe when I decide what it's going to say, I'll finish it and post it. Due to circumstances beyond your control, you are master of your fate and captain of your soul. |
