Lost Reality slips into oblivion Darkness plagues a meagre consciousness Memories, long forgotten Migrate to and fro And through the clouded fog A thought, almost perceived; escapes Seemingly just out of reach Beyond comprehension Confused and unsure As the eyes release Their silent plea It's okay to shoot the moon ~ John Sebastian |
