Far too often in this life, we are faced with an archetypal choice... Between a person's body or their soul. One chooses the body over and over again. Then, suddenly, they aspire to change in their life... to grow and progress. The choice laid before them once more, and the change disappears... Once again, the body prevails. I cannot negate the beauty of a person for their outer grandeur. As I, too, fall for physical attributes. But, now, more than ever, I have come to realize That it is only in loving the soul... That I can truly love the body. Yet, I have found such love of the soul in one, and now so much that I admire and want the body for completion, and am being denied... Is it the case that in this world the multiple forms of love that some say exist cannot exist together? The archetype of choice is an enigma of self, placing an easy, briefly satisfying pick in the forefront of the stronger one that's harder to see. So it is love of the soul that makes me desire the body but likewise, this genuine love also grants me ability to let go, unfulfilled... for the betterment of him so endeared. |

Why has no one commented on this? Perhaps, a chord was struck too familiar, too absurdedly true. I to, feel this way as well...just don't know how to express it. Seems that people like to put love in many different forms so they can also put God in many different forms. Making only there own lives easier. |
