I’m alone and tired Tired of my life Life filled with sadness A sadness that consumes my very being Being alive isn’t that important to me Being gone wouldn’t matter Matter of fact no one would miss me Me? Who am I but just another poet Poets don’t need what I call poetry Poetry wouldn’t miss me As I walk away for the last time Time for me has come and gone Gone I shall be very shortly Shortly after I shall be a fading memory Memory shall clear it’s self in time Then I shall be gone leaving everyone else alone Alone and better off with out me in their lives Lives that will one day be happy that I am not there There is a name of the place I will be NOWHERE © icyheart 01/04/02 |

I have felt the same so very often but I'm still here today. Sometimes we just need to relax, let go, and good things come to us...if we believe they will. A good read. |

Awe, no way you will always be somewhere--At the very least in the hearts of many I am sure--You are very loved & I'm sure noone would like to see you go, so stay a while & open your eyes to the world you might like what you see & I'm sure you would miss it too  ELMO |
