We are as old as time itself Though our eternal youth can not be denied We are the forward thinkers Which none can comprehend We are philosophy and science All rolled up into one We are the visions of the future And the memories of the past We are the purveyors of beautiful dreams And even some nightmares too We are the very embodiment of creativity Conjuring fantasies for others to marvel at We are who rush to the aid of those in need While fighting our own battles alone We are the givers of the warmest light In a world so dark and cold We are those who take that which we hold so dear And give it all selflessly to you We are the lone champions of good As the world looks away We are made not for material bindings Rather the riches of emotional fulfillment We are the overachieved And the under appreciated We are the weird We are the wonderful We are… Aquarius G. Thank you both. Being a "water bearer" myself, I had to do one like this sooner or later. I realize that this isn't that dark, but when I post I post here, dark, light or indifferent. Anyways, thanks again.  Regret not that which you have done, |
