Prince Charming Blues

I don't want to sound like I'm being real alarming
but it's not too wonderful to be Prince Charming.
Things in my life just didn't seem to be right,
so I went to the forest to hook up with Snow White.
The kisses were good, the days filled with laughter
But there's no such thing as happily ever after.
Snow White and I fought, she wanted to break up.
So I took off to find someone else to wake up.
I found her all right, and she was a real cutie.
So I moved in with that girl named Sleeping Beauty.
S.B. and I had it good but then like a curse,
She left me to go to school so she could be a nurse.
I tucked my tail between my legs and went back to the palace.
Had a secret affair with a girl from Wonderland named Alice.
Alice and I weren't really the greatest as a pair.
So she left me out of the book, I really didn't care.
By this time the old Prince was one tired fella'.
Then he met a girl who lost her shoe, her name was Cinderella.
Happily ever after lasted just a few short years.
Then Cindi ran off with someone else, but through all the tears
I've seen a few more princesses, but none them was right.
So nowadays Prince Charming sleeps alone at night.
You can't just believe that my life is full of glory.
Just because I'm usually the hero of the story.
I don't want to sound like I'm being real alarming
but it's not too wonderful to be Prince Charming.
