I saw a star It fell for me Amidst the dark Yet jewel filled night I thought how bizarre This sight I see A brilliant spark All burning white Why did it fall How can this be I asked for not That it would die I simply call To God you see For guidance sought My lonely cry But fall it did Before my eyes The heavens now No more to grace Farewell I bid To God's surprise Your love somehow I'll not replace A wish for you My brightest friend So that once more You'll shine for me With life anew 'Til heaven's end You I'll adore For eternity G.
