I'm reposting this poem because i just got it published in "The best poems and poets of 2001." In life things run parallel Constantly out of reach You can stretch and stretch But never touch or meet. Yet, Still you try to defeat The barriar, The distance For That almost touching Instant. I'm a dying romantic and when i can no longer write i can no longer live -Jeremiah Johnson- |

Congrats to you. It is good to see when someone gets published even if they write only for themself. We are born into this world alone, and we will die alone. It is what we do between those times that matters. This is where we leave our mark. |

Nicely written. I like your apparently freestyle form that still comes across with a sense of rhythm. "If history is to change, let it change. If the world is to be destroyed, so be it. If my fate is to die, I must simply laugh" |
