The return began well.
You laughed at my jokes
I acted stupid, moreso
than you did.

Why do bad things come
in happy packages?

Now we're back to the
paranoia, "back to life,
back to reality",
waiting for you to strike.

Perhaps you'll steal some
beer and go out drinking,
or maybe it will be some
money to feed your dark
happiness.
