I listen deep in the night straining to hear a voice that will bring a small piece of light. Silent now lays your tongue and I drift into my imagination and memories of times when I were young smiling with love filled eyes and clinging to your apron ties. I whisper to you deep in the night longing for your presence to hold me tight as you did so long ago and patted my back gently as off to sleep I would go. I embrace the shadows cold with fright while I dream of your precious faces shinning bright. Forever etched in my mind are the voices of my grandparents so kind. Oh, sweet death rock them gently while I linger here and wish for them to be. {Thinking of my grandparents whom were killed about 5 years ago....Death be gentle for I miss them.} "There is an alter ego which dwells within every soul." (C)alibaster 1999-2001 "Sleep those little slices of death, how I loathe them." Edgar Allan [This message has been edited by alibaster (edited 10-27-2001).] |

So much sadness... I feel for you. "You say it's grey, but life is black and white, it's going to be all right" -Larry Norman, "Come Away". |
