INNOCENCE Where was I, when life was perceived simple? When innocence, was a smile with a dimple. Where everyday, felt like Saturday afternoon. Care-free & comfortable, far from any doom. Did I miss it somehow? Skip past it all? Fly to the future? Walk down the wrong hall? Did the sign say adulthood, the one I couldn't read? Did I choose the wrong path? Plant the bad seed? Was it my actions, that turned it this way? Something I did? Something I failed to say? How did it all fall, on my tiny shoulders? A million little pebbles, rolled into the heaviest of boulders. "It's not my fault!" I try to convince, but there's no other explanation, for lost innocence! LOVE ELMO |

Ah yes, i can relate. Wouldn't it be nice to have that childhood innocense again? To look on everybody as friends, not think negatives about them, judging them etc. Ahh the world would be a much better place if we could all retrain our innocense. But nothing you did or didn't do let to this, it's just the sometimes stark realities of being an adult. Trials are sent to try us etc... *hugs* Isis *The greatest warrior is one that does not need to fight* ~Isis~ |
