Confusion, in a hate-filled world. Light banished from a darkened plane. Blind leading blind in darkened whorls, Sense the anger, feel the pain. Order, in a light-filled place. Happiness, a joyful shout. Tears of laughter, a smiling face, Darkness never creeps about. Different, yet joined in me, Chaos, Order, Dark and Light. Truth is but a memory, Memory which has taken flight. How can I find the Truth in me? A Truth forgotten, in the past. Is it Woe, of Happiness? My true self, or a role I've cast? Thought is the arrow of time, Memory never fades, What was asked is given, The price is paid. -- Robert Jordan |
