The title attraced me into the poem and it didn't let me down. Wonderful job on this one. A shear delight.

I too, was attracted by the title. Very dark with the whole "gothic" thing going on. Nice.

thanks all for reading ... the title is a literal translation in Portuguese, which is the same as the last line in the poem (forever, sweet sleep) ... my intent was to let this go one of two ways for the reader ... could mean actual sleep, or a forever sleep (death) ... take it however it comes to you ... thanks again.
