I thought he was lost forever
Until this morning
When I saw him in your eyes
I didn’t ask you to give him back
‘Cause sure you don’t even know
You hide him or the much I miss him

For moments I felt jealousy
Finding he is where I wish to be
But quickly I understood
He was not happy
When I heard him asking to come back
For close the sadness I live in

I thought he had lost his mind
Wishing to leave such a perfect place
But then I saw it so clearly
He just wish to come back
To where truth is just a doubt
And where impossible is yet a dream

For moments I was going to ask you
To let me rescue him
Forgetting you wouldn’t open the door
To this eternal beggar of you
So I left him there alone
In that pain of your disdain

So, please
One of these days
When you have time
If you don’t mind
Can you please release him?
Can you please give me back my smile?
