as much as i'd like to take back what i've given up so easily. as bad as i thrive for the same to happen to you. i drownd eagerly in guilt awaiting on the thought of swallowing this ache in my lung. just as easy, i'll spit it back at you. so take all you want, i'm already torn apart and sure that one last tear will feel just the same. if i could only leave you with one thought, i'd put this all on you. and here i'll stand, a shattered soul, stand tall enough to wait for my turn. so quit while your ahead, or in return i'd do the same to you. raped of hope i lie here, knowing that i've mended the scars of greed and replaced them with a void. i gave it back. |

Welcome to Passions!! I thought this poem completely rocked. It was so wonderfully written. The style is quite interesting and I hope to see you post around here more. I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. I'm in love with my shadow I admire it daily |

Welcome to Passions! This is a really deep poem, full of powerful emotions. I really hope you regain that hope that this person took from you. Good work! PS-check your e-mail "Men judge generally more by the eye than by the hand, for everyone can see and few can feel."-Machiavelli |
