Work In Progress. Poetry ain’t constructed out of blocks and bit’s of wood it evolves from all those memories or is it maybe that it should? Is poetry not simple just like our A, B, C’s or is just random things? Quite like a plate of peas Poetry is for scholars to tear and pull apart or is it just for lovers to cherish with their heart? If poetry was constructed Out of blocks and bits of wood then this would be a tribute to all poets that are good. |

I liked this a lot! VERY VERY well done. I thought that this was so well expressed. Nice job I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. I'm in love with my shadow I admire it daily |

I ~really~ enjoyed this! I have written poetry on the concept of poetry before, this one is very good. Can poetry really be defined? Is it all basically one thing? And if not, then what really is defined as poetry? Great job. I'm adding this to my library. And about the last stanza? Thanks for the tribute. ~Allan Stupidity makes the world go around...and people like us laugh. ~~Elizabeth, to Allan |

I loved this poem, very clever. (NO, poetry is NOT for scholars to pick at and pull apart! That's killing it. For every poem you kill you should have to replace it with a new one! Sorry, just venting. Nothing to do with you) ....peace as a primary objective is dangerous because it implies that we would sacrifice any principle for the sake of it.... Robert Kaplan |
