As we have witnessed, here on this day, Love is alive and here to stay Upon it they shall always stand And proclaim their love before every land. Mountains shall fall, rivers shall dry Before their love, either denies It shall always stand ever so tall Like a colossus that never falls These two hearts have melded and now are as one Together Forever their life has begun To have and to hold, and cherish each other To live and to learn and to love one another. |

how sweet.....very very sweet poem here. A wonderful display of true love and the bond formed together once married. Nicely done. ![]() I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. I'm in love with my shadow I admire it daily |

Love is beautiful, and so is this poem. ![]() and in the end we still pretend the time we spend not knowing when we're finally free and you could be -NIN "The Wretched" Angel of Darkness |

What A wonderful piece and Great tribute to them both. You truly showed the power and meaning of love in this piece. Into the library shall this one go until I need a spiritul boost of love into my soul. Wonderful once again. Life is like a storm, it passes you by without even knowing it~Amanda |

Oh. Love. How sweet... ![]() Marriage sounds so permanent, tied down to one person you're lifetime...and yet it sounds inviting. Good luck to your brother and sister-in law. Nice writing.. xoxo Jenn "I'm a big, big, girl, in a big, big world, it's not a big, big thing if you leave me, but I do feel, that I will miss you much..." (Did they like the poem??) *Life can take your dreams and turn them upside down, Friends will talk about you when you're not around, but don't ever lose that light in your eyes* |

Well, before it was also a tribute to my brother, because my brother and I are very obviously brothers and I've been called "Bill" and been compared to him so many times that it's kind of annoying, but I had one line in there that said, Even though I don't like being called 'Bill', there's no one I would rather be mistaken for or compared to. They loved it, and in fact, the maid of honor originally planned to give a toast, but after hearing mine, decided she didn't want to follow, I didn't find that out until later though, hehe. Actually, also being a college kid with too many bills and not enough money, I actually wrote the poem in calligraphy and had it custom framed as their gift, only cost me about $30 altogether, and its been hanging on their wall ever since. |
