Imagine a sea Torn asunder by worry Ripped apart by hate Unsettled by injustice Imagine a country Torn asunder by worry Ripped part by hate Colored red by fury Now imagine a person Torn asunder by worry Ripped apart by hate Saved with your love Imagine a world Of peace and beauty And undeniable love Ruined from ignorance Imagine a Father Filled with love Broken hearted by Our feelings of hate Work towards the sunset Never dread the sunrise Each step is unique But never doubt each direction Find the light in darkness Pray to a God others don’t know Believe in Angels Hear their voices Love the rain Dance in the moonlight Watch the ocean’s tide flow in Sing for Joy Cry for the lost Weep for the empty Love the different Accept the beauty in everything Stop hating Quit smoking Drop the glass of alcohol Stop in mid-punch But don’t turn away Don’t move a boulder In someone else’s path And never stop imagining. "My nightmare isn't fearing what I dream... It's waking up, knowing what I'll see." |

Hey I liked this one.....very good job. I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. I'm in love with my shadow I admire it daily |

this was so different than most poems in this forum...i agree with everything your saying and I loved the part about not to push a boulder in someone elses way, bravo!
