What Is Love? Love is like a crystal Its beauty outshines the rest So enchanting is its demeanor But it's just like glass And can slip from your hands Leaving shattered hearts. Love is like grains of sand Soft and pure Innocent and white Easy to obtain Yet difficult to hold on to As it falls through your fingers. Love is like water Clear, warm and refreshing A vital essence of life But always changing Prone to freezing And tends to drip away. Love is like a flower Blooming in the spring Elegant and delicate But when dark nights And icy winds approach It can shirvel up and die. Love is like the sun Bright and cheerful Warming every soul Yet sunshine does burn Leaving marks or scars If you get too much. Love is an essence of life Blooming in the spring Shining in the sun Clear like water Soft like sand Keeping us all alive. <3Andrea ~luvs~ Anthony,<3 You only live once so live it to the fullest.. Love comes and goes but friends stay for ever~!~!~!~!~! |

Wow, that was very vivid. I loved the part: "Love is like a crystal Its beauty outshines the rest So enchanting is its demeanor But it's just like glass" Nice job! "I believe that man will not merely endure: he will prevail. -William Faulkner (Noble Prize Speech.) |

Lovely. I'll keep reading yours, so keep posting. -Allan We used to hate people, now we just make fun of them. It's more effective that way. --KMFDM |

I love the sumation of the whole poem in the end. WOW!!! That was really good. BRAVO!!! I see no changes, wake up in the morning I ask myself, "Is life worth living or should I blast myself" TUPAC SHAKUR |

Yes I am going to have to agree that the summary of the whole poem at the end was very nicely put. Good job on this one. I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. I'm in love with my shadow I admire it daily |
