Cheat or hurt you, in any way

Nicely done here.......I thought that this poem was fine just the way it is. Good job on it and keep posting.

I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust.

Hmmm... for some reason the last line seemed to have a double meaning to me...
"let me be" can mean "leave me alone" or "allow me to be."
Anyone else wondering about this?

Allan, when I was reading the poem, that's what I thought it meant..
