This poem is another insipired by a song. Bush's "glycerine"....probaly my song that is played when im afraid. GLYCERINE Maybe the world has yet to understand my fear The fear of my loved ones pershing from my arms "dont let the days go by" I have to hold my head high be proud of me proud of my body proud of my soul "shouldve be easier by 3" After the first three left isnt it suppose to be easier? "i'm never alone i'm alone all the time" where do you come in? where do your words come from? "our old friend fear and you and me" I don't need anyones help I need just the people who left stop! i don't care for the fake words maybe you should all just leave me alone... leave me to my sorrow leave me to my happiness that prooves they are in a better place im crying now knowing i have to let go Regina "not my time to wonder why everything's gone white and everything's grey now you're here now you're away i don't want this remember that i'll never forget where you're at don't let the days go by glycerine i'm never alone i'm alone all the time are you at one or do you lie" |

Whoa! This was awesome. A few spelling mastakes tho, like "prooves". Anyhow, the content was great. You really do well in conveying emotion in free verse poetry. "If history is to change, let it change. If the world is to be destroyed, so be it. If my fate is to die, I must simply laugh" |

The song is awsome, I'd say one of my favorites. I found it interesting, that you like it when you're afraid, I have a completely different perspective of the song, I think it is beautifully constructed. And I myself, like listening to it all the time!! though particularly when I feel beaten down. Anyway, you made me think. And I do a lot of thinking. Oh yeah! almost forgot, the poem!! I thought you did a good job with it, and I like how you incorperated the song lyrics. Keep posting. |

Ina, I really like the idea of these latest poems. Using songs that inspire you and incorporating them into your poem. It shows how the song truly affects you.And you have used some of the best songs. Jon "Your anger is a gift"-Rage Against The Machine |

I enjoyed this one Regi! Good job here! I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. |
