For the One She Misses (part 2) I've waited, she's held her kisses Contemplating who it is she misses hearts song sang unheard Listen ears unclogged She has her own melody bird Moments anguish she let go her kisses They're lying safe with the one she misses quiet man so believed Indecision now over Should I be relieved? Perhaps she saved some kisses For another soul she misses small chance burned to ground This shanty shack love I had A firestorm left nothing around She never had any kisses There was no one she misses Melting half-truths Life unfair I'm not the one mentioned Somehow I don't care I see now with eyes unhampered by desperation I see what she really means to me All it took was a little concentration No fiber of her is better than me Somewhere, somehow, someone is holding their kisses For they miss someone like me She found her own I will hope for the same No longer meant for her I'll just search harder It's all that you see This poem is dedicated to no one else Except me ---------------------------- I wanted to end this whole ordeal, and I feel this gives me a warm feeling of triumph even though nothing happened accordingly. Journeys begin anew. "This is cactus land!!!"-T.S.Eliot |

Well done here! I really liked this one. Wonderfully done. I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. |
