So Coby Dick of Papa Roach and his song "Tightrope" have given me the inspiration to write this today. The repetition is well.... repetitious.. hehe

Sometimes I feel
like I'm pushed to the edge,
that I can't move any further.
I'm so afraid of falling.

Sometimes I feel
like I have no friends
that they all dislike me.
I'm so afraid of empathy.

Sometimes I feel
like I'll end up like "him"
that I'll just end it all.
I'm so afraid of closure.

Sometimes I feel
like I have no control
that I can't handle all of this
I'm so afraid of losing.

Sometimes I feel
like "he" doesn't love me
as much as "he" should.
I'm so afraid of being lonely.

Sometimes I feel
like I'm the only one
that ever has problems.
I'm so afraid of getting help.

Sometimes I feel
like a new day will come
that I'll be able to stand.
But I'm so afraid to love myself.

ooh i mos def like this one. i like the repititon it goes with the overall message type thing of the poem

Firstly, thankyou for sharing such a great piece. The feelings here are so raw that you have no choice but to connect with them in some way.

Secondly, the repition was a nice touch. It really emphasised what you are feeling instead of what you are just thinking. There is a difference in these two things that not many can catch onto.

Well done on this. It truly is excellent.

wow..i love this alot, and i loooove papa roach too!!! this was awsome..you did out do yourself!!!

i wanted to kill the sexiest person alive, but then i realized suicide is a crime!! :)

I really liked this poem a lot Raven. I thought you did exceptionally well on this.
Why did you quote "he"? Are you not sure this is a man yer talkin about?

Aww...thanks everyone for the comments once again. They are really appreciated.

Oh and Dopey here's the answer to you question:

Well "he" is my best friend Jimmy. He's extremely suicidal and I'm one of his closest friends. Jimmy just doesn't show that he cares. There was a point in my life when I was ready to end it and he wasn't there, but then when he attempted suicide and failed, I was the one on the phone with him for 5 hours telling him it would be okay. I added quotations just to add emphasis.
