We lived until we had to die
We loved until we had to cry
We hoped until we wondered why
But its all over now

We gave until we took away
We talked without a thing to say
We danced all night and slept all day
But its all over now

You left and I was all alone
I cried as I thought how you'd grown
And wished you well now on your own
For its all over now
