I really did mean

it isn't easy being here
when you're not
it isn't easy for me
to love you
with one foot outside the door
despite all that you do
I still love you
I hate the way you treat me
and everything that hurts
but despite it all
I'm still in love with you
and I'll always be still in love
but I can't
I can't do this
you can't do this to me
anymore
my heart is too grief stricken
and aching
you still make my heart race
and you still make me nervous
I'm still in love
but not with how you treat me
but who you are
and how you make me feel
But babe, I can't
I just can't
any more
This is my simple way
of saying I'm sorry but we can't
we can't be us anymore
You can't do this to me
I'm still in love with you
but you won't treat me like this
you say you love me
but you don't show it
so now I'm saying I do love you
and I hate to try to imagine life
without you
but I can't live like this anymore
I'm still in love with you,
but it's time to say good-bye
for myself...

This poem is great. Shows how you feel in the sense that you don't want to leave this person but you know it's what's healthy. It's the smart decision. Very mature of you.
