hey, this is one of my more recent poems. i was kinda talked into posting so tell me what you think if you wanna.

Darkness of Time

time stops.
a gentle soul wanders through his own reflection.
wanting to rest, but knowing that he never can.
darkness engulfs his being.
steely daggers sear through his flesh.
a burning fire fills his eyes.
the darkness calls with a blackening howl,
consuming light as it winds to him.
a burning coldness enters as mirrors shatter.
sobbing, a sound of weakness, escapes his lips.
he lies on jagged shards, bleeding.
a thousand mocking eyes look on from the darkness.
and as he reaches for help in the dark,
a cold hand tosses it aside.
darkness engulfs all.
the man lies no more.
a distant howl is all that remains,
of a memory of a man.

Welcome to Passions! I enjoyed this poem greatly. It had some sort of creepy feeling in the end, and I enjoyed that very much. The ending is superb. I loved it.
