We give this day to our dads to tell them we love them
they get cards home made stuff from their young kids
they thank us

I remember when I was little I'd make something for my dad at school
he'd say I love you Minna
when I got older I'd give him a card

I don't remember the last fathers day with my dad
but now he's looking down on me
telling me they way to go in life

I miss him a lot but he needed to go to heaven
on fathers day I will remember him
smile all day or try too

I'm glad that you are going to remember the good times you had with your father and be happy on Father's Day, instead of being sad. I'm sure your father would have wanted it that way. Thanks for sharing.

I really like this poem. we do often times take advantage of our fathers. thanks for reminding me of that.
