In an upside-down garden

Sometimes I breathe hard,
just to make sure I'm still breathing.

Sometimes I look out the window after you,
just to make sure you're still leaving.

Sometimes I get so cold,
just because of how nervous I am with you.

Sometimes I cry at night,
just to make sure I get it all out before the next day.

Sometimes I wish for a miracle,
just because I want you to see how I feel.

Sometimes I think I don't love you anymore,
and then I realize that I couldn't go through life without loving you.

not good, I know, but oh well, I'm tired and my homeroom one tug-of-war. YIPEE!

I know you're in a better place and though I cannot see your face, I know you're smiling down on me, saying everything's okay. ~R Kelly (I wish)

Wow, situation this is confusing.

Ah, well... good poem, congrats on winning tug-o-war.

Allysa, from the pieces I have read about this fella so far, you need to TELL him some of these things. Other wise instead of winning the home room tug of war, you'll lose the emotional one.

Keep your head up.

Also, Alyssa, we both live in ohio.  Strange coincidence.  Hmmm. ANyways, af, I don't know HOW to tell him.  It's hard.  there's so much to tell him and so little time.  I move away in twenty four days, but atleast it's not twenty four hours. ANyways, byes.

Well done here. I liked this one!

I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust.

BE PROUD OF ME!!!!!!!! I told Justin what I've needed to tell him since September 19, 2000.  I told him how I felt that the whole Jesica thing was all my fault and all that, and how I felt bad because I never called her and everything and he made me feel better.  For once, instead of joking around to make me laugh or whatever, he actually told me "it's not your fault, it's not your fault, you didn't know it was gonna happen" and EVERYTHING'S ALL BETTER NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

wow, honestly, i didn't care too much for this poem as a whole...but i absolutely fell in love with the lines about sometimes i watch you as you're leaving to make sure that you're still leaving or whatever...because i do that too and it hit so close to home and made my heart ache. i loved that part so much~! and even if only one part of a poem is good, it means that the poet has so much potential and i can't wait to read more from ya!
