Cynically grinning
Faster we’re spinning
And louder were singing
Don’t stop now, we’re winning!

He’s turning me faster
Yell’s “The world’s racing past her-
This one dance will master.”
The distance is growing vaster!

Softly we’re slowing
Beyond all hope of knowing
That soon we’ll be going
So painful is growing!

*One meets his destiny often in the road he takes to avoid it.
