This one has also been in my binder for a while. I wrote it a while back... Some things were going on that I just thought that people treat eachother way too unfairly... Some people just like to fight, not even caring who or what for. Let me know what you think. THE WAR OF LIFE Sometimes life can Be so great You forget that this world Is so full of hate Satan may win the battle But God has won the war Sometimes life makes you forget Who you're fighting for Every battle Has it's wounds and scars Fighting back won't promise Eternity above the stars Try to remember What you're fighting for Keep in mind that the battle Won't always affect the war Every time that you say a word Think if it will hurt or heal That's the problem with the world today; Some don't care how others feel - Cody - |

Nicely done here. I liked the message within this one! I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. |

This was such a truthful piece. Sadly, there are so many ignorant pplz out there who don't really give a **** what other ppl feel..But I believe that in the end, good conquers all evil. Great piece!! ~*Nikki*~ ~*Of all the millions of people in the world, I'm just me.*~ |

I like the ending message, it was very nicely done. Also I can understand what you are saying with "Satan wins the battle, God wins the war." I translated these terms into "evil" and "good" just so that I could accept them. You did a nice job on the poem, this contains a rare piece of advice that should be more well known. ~Allan Build a man a fire, and he's warm for a day. Set a man on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life. |
