The Hot Girl From Canada

I'm sitting outside,
Staring at the stars in the sky.
And deep in my heart,
I know I'll get by.

These tears I cry now,
Wont last for long.
Even though I'm hurting now,
This pain will make me strong.

They say that god is with you,
Whenever you need a hand.
I didn't beleive their words before,
But now I understand.

This pain has been dealt,
And when it rains it pours.
But I know that god is with me,
And he holds an open door.

Some people call me names,
That I would rather not repeat.
But when confront them,
No one will take the heat.

So I let them talk,
They don't know the real me.
Everyone has their own opinions,
And they will see what they want to see.

The harsh words they spit,
sometimes get into my head.
They leave me with no confidence,
Wishing I were dead.

But then I look in the mirror,
And I see what they don't see.
I don't care if they don't like me,
I am happy being ME!

So I wipe away my tears,
And rid my head of all their lies.
Tomorrow's a brand new day,
And I know I'll get by.

Don't judge a person untill you have walked a mile in their shoes, this way your a mile away from them, and you have their shoes.

i can sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo relate to this!!!!
i loved reading your poem...the flow was great and ditto to what alberta said...the length was great too..it was just right..

I enjoyed this poem a lot. The positivity within the poem is what attracts me. I hope to see you get by and much more than that

People with comments that make you feel like crap should be shot. Well...not shot...but you get the idea. It's good to see you can just say stuff them and get on with your life.

This is such a positive poem which is absolutely wonderful
