The body always dies
but when shall the mind?

thought cracks and splinters
dreams fade and die
wisedom trips and falls
love fails and breaks

this is true death
the real thing
the place where all pain generates

the destruction of you soul
the obliteration of your heart
the suffocation of your mind

true death
true pain
cannot be controlled

i am what i am and that is all that i am and all that i shall ever be..so deal with it
to make the world the greatest place is the perfect dream in

jeez...This one made me sit back and really take in all that was being said.

Thank you for such a powerful piece.

very intense poem here, Ben.  I loved the last stanza... that's very powerful.  I hope all is okay.  I enjoyed this quite a bit.  Thanks for sharing.
