Looking through the glass
    And into your life,
    He presses his hands upon the sill
    Drawing his face to the pane.
    Little puffs of vapour form
    Round to frame this travesty of trust
    This icy caricature of warmth and kindness
    Your souls' curtain is withdrawn
    The fiborous tassles cobwebbed grey
    Still he looks. Dumbfounded, lost
    Yet intrigued.
    Looking outwardly inward.Inwardly out.
    Into a constant downward spiral
    To oblivion.
    Past the ruptured tumour of past
    ( once loved )
    Memories.
    To the sense of your very being.
    To the surging life-blood of your mind.
    The characters of your silent black and white film
    The songs of your heart, your childhood, your ailing mother.
    He wrinkles his nose and furrows his brow.
    The wind continues to blow. It lifts away the
    Vapours in a slow deliberatly agonising caress.
    He walks away.
    And your house crumbles

i really like this poem... the imagery is great. the only thing that's coming to me for a title is something about a foundation and a stalker... sorry i'm not much help. But great poem anyway.

Cherish, simply amazing. This is the poem that had the verse like mine.....yea but used in a different context....Still..you write with such passion and emotion. Very VERY well done. I thought this poem was amazing. Hope to read more!

mistic- the person looking into my life is somebody whom i love...with all my heart....but doesnt want to love me back...so i dont think i could use the word "stalker" in the title..hehhe..but it was a good suggestion!!...can i steal the word "foundation" though???..*writes it down*..ill use it someday

kosetsu- Watcher On the other Side seems good too!!!...i think ill have to go with just "Watcher"...hows that?
dopes- yeah..im waiting for you to post that one up!!..but yeah im glad you liked this poem..makes me feel good

newayz.....cherish this poem is fantastic. i think u did an excellent job on its!! for some reason i thought of that Christmas movie that ive temporarily forgotten the name of *smax herself* ya know withs like scrooge and then lil tommy or w/e his name is and then all the ghosts of christmas past, present, and future. newayz.. it like reminded me of when scrooge is lookin into the window of lil tommy's house on his and his familys christmas dinner and stuffs! yay i membereds that much of the movie! go me!! ok im prolly sceerin u all now so ill just heshup and finish ups

arrrrrrrrggggggghhhh!!...i remember that movie!!..hahha..but i dont know what its called..i always call it "a muppets christmas carol"...and i know that "muppets" should not be there..but "a christmas carol" doesnt sound right......shuuuuuush...dont tell anyone tiffany... but i still cry my eyes out when i watch it...haha!

Cherish, this is absolutely amazing. THe poem is so beautiful. This is one of the best I've read from you. The ending is so powerful, and that last line is impressive. The whole poem blew me away. Awesome poem, Cherish, you rock!

Cherish-bebe- i have to say that this is the best poem I've read from you.I love this one so much!I can imagine everything as you said it-and i also have an inkling as to who you wrote this about as well.
