Find no comfort in the cross
Answers for me it holds not
Speak to me and of my loss
Do not read a dead mans thoughts

Find no comfort in my mind
Stand and stare into the rain
Wonder how to leave behind
Wonder whats the use of pain

Find no comfort in tomorrow
Pinned down by my yesterday
Lost in dwelling on my sorrow
Lost in what the others say

Find no comfort in the healing
Scars deny....no use pretending
That this long forgotten feeling
Stands a chance of ever ending

Some really powerful words there, my friend. This is very well written and full of sadness and anger. These emotions come across really well. I hope things get better for you, though. Thanks for sharing.

Your flow is wonderful. I loved this piece Kevin!!! You are one of my favorite writers on here. It's always good to see a poem by you.
