The United Kingdom of America. We are the children of an imperial age, Colonies reversing subjecting their rage, President, Emperor, It’s all the same, Media darlings searching for fame, Bright lights and camera’s guns of today, Freedom of speech with nothing to say, Subjected to brainwashing, believe what were told, For green dollar bills our lifes have been sold. This is different from what most people post, and i really like its uniqueness. Thanks! "so when at times the mob is swayed to carry praise or blame too far, we may choose something like a star" --Frost |

I loved this one. You really wrote this great. I hope to see more of this kind of writing. Well done. I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. |

Good job on this, Zu It was short and to the point and I can understand where you're coming from. Anyhow, see you around and until the next post, BYE!~ ~Allysa~ I know you're in a better place and though I cannot see your face, I know you're smiling down on me, saying everything's okay. ~R Kelly (I wish) |

I love the paradox in the title. Very interesting. The rest of the poem was very thoughtful, I personally love your political poetry. It's a neat twist to this forum's usual theme of writing. Great work. ~Allan Build a man a fire, and he's warm for a day. Set a man on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life. |
