Dark blue heaven
nestled deep in our souls
Fearing the emptiness
of escaping ourselves
and our life long companion
Exposed to new heights,
but we always look down
Watching one of us
become eaten and digested
by the familiar unknown
Explosions in your eyes
reflecting my own
sense of unsettled discomfort
We all died,
therefore, we know how to live
because we know the difference
Unopened packages
waiting at the door,
Just one of the many
inside the labyrinth of our souls

as always the dark images that you create with your words are incredible, you did an awsome job on this piece.  keep posting all your work.

Well done! I really thought the ending was great, but I felt this piece was lacking something in your work that it usually has. Your work usually has some kind of punch. Anyhow, this was still great and i look forward to reading more from you in the future.

You know after I posted it (this was another free flow right of the top of my head sorta poems) I felt as though it was lacking something, but I thought that maybe the metaphors and deep meanings would still make it decent. *shrugs* I'm gettin' rusty...what can I say?   Thanks for your replies everyone, and Javier...thanks for your honesty.
