“Hope” Shining down from the skies above Whispering sweet words of love Pervading through the darkest night Showing me a way through my plight On the edge of sanity Longing for your touch to set me free Bowing down for all to behold As my oath, to you is told Praying through the shadows While I fight all these battles One thought and I shall fight Onward will I go with all my might Words are heard upon the wind The vine that holds all to great ends Looking for something to grasp I find my dreams of you And I find hope It's too bad I'm not as wonderful a person as people say I am, because the world could use a few people like that. |
