i dont know what to do anymore
i cant even talk to you
everytime im with you
its like im walking on egg shells
waiting for you to crack
and lose it all
im so afraid that ill do something wrong
so afraid that ill say something wrong
to bring you closer to the brink

i dont know what to do anymore
we dont even talk to each other
theres a lack of communication
and i dont know whos fault it is
i tried the best i could
but im so afraid to continue this way
so afraid that i wont know what to do
to help you when you crack
and lose it all

For as u were when first ur eye I eyed,
Such seems ur beauty still." ~W.S.

I liked what you said about the egg shells. Very well thought out, I liked it a lot.
The poem showed a lot of care because you want to be friends with this person and help him/her out. The communication lack is not ONE person's fault, it usually is both unless ONE person completely shuts out. Anyhow, try....try to talk....good luck.

I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust.

it sounds like a hard situation, i hope everything turns out for the best.if there is a lack of communication i would actually consider giving them this poem, you seem very honest and forthright in this and it might help thngs a bit.  just a thought, keep posting your work.

Sometimes, the things that go unsaid are the only things worth hearing.

Egg shells are great as a metaphor, as Javier said.  They really bring a lot of things to mind, it makes the reader think of other things that they would relate to eggshells and I think that you thought that out extremely well.
As for the situation, you know what I think.     Have some pride, talk to him about it.  If you feel there's no communication, either make communication or at least bring closure.
The choice is yours.  Nice poem though.
