After the stars come out Before the dawn begins, Uncalled evil, a familiar face, quietly slips in. Silenced are my pains...covering his addiction. Even though my night reveals, Day can not see my affliction.

Very well done.....the acrostic rocked. I really thought you did well on it. I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. |

acrostic is hard to do, but you wrote this quite well. the piece made me shiver, very powerful poem here. keep sharing your work with us. Sometimes, the things that go unsaid are the only things worth hearing. |
