In the silence of the night
Hot tears flow from my eyes
Burning my skin like fire
Falling one by one to the floor
Leaving parts of my shattered heart
Imprinted in the ground
I think, why am I crying?
Why is this pain so deep that it cuts
Like a sharp knife through my heart
The loss of a loved one
Not knowing where she is
  If shes alright
  If shes suffering
  If shes alive
  If shes dead
  If shes in heaven
  If shes in hell
Tell me shes alright
Stop these tears from falling
Help me pick up my shattered heart
And put it back together, piece by piece
Put her body to rest
Put my heart to rest
Let me let go
Let us all find piece
Day by day, I take it
But it will be worth the wait
When I see her one last time.

hey wow deb that was awesome! like just out of curiosity was that about your mum? i'm sorry if ur feeling down if u need to talk just know i'm there to listen. u might have writers block somtimes but when you do write its awesome hope to see some more stuff from u that poem was awesome
