okay i'm sure every single person in here can relate to this poem at one time or another! LOL

-=The Call=-

Staring at the phone,
hoping that it will ring.
Trying to keep busy,
keep my mind on other things.

The anticipation bubbling,
deep inside of me.
I'm begging for you to call,
hoping you'll hear my plea.

It's starting to get late,
quarter after ten.
I'm drumming my fingers on my desk,
and chewing on my pen.

Forget about it now...
something must have come up.
I'll try to get some sleep,
and think of other stuff.

Tossing and turning fitfully,
falling in and out of dreams.
I wonder why you didn't call
but, of course, its never as it seems.

I could relate to this one sooo much!! It's such a sucky feeling when you're waiting 4 someone 2 call and they dont and then you have a hard time going 2 sleep because you're running all the possibillites through your head of why they didnt call...Well I'm sure you know what I'm talking bout considering u wrote the poem, lol..But I like this alot.
