An evil, grinning, tortuous skull
placed outside of a sinful black soul
a knowing smile like a broken doll
Jealousy takes her hold on me
what once was white
is now green with greed.

A murky black pool
where i stuggle to float
to save my soul
with a prayer, a wing, a sail and a boat
from this colourless future
where i end up just like her.

~*~this is about a girl i know who won a modelling shoot.. which is something i've always wanted to do but unfortunatly i'm not skinny enough! So just depressive stuff as you're used ot hearing from me!~*~

i really like the second stanza of this, the images are wonderful and the poem is very well written on the whole. i know a lot of people who have hurt themselves because they thought they weren't skinny enough, i hope you can realize that you are wonderful with the body that you have. anyway, great job, keep posting your work.

Sometimes, the things that go unsaid are the only things worth hearing.

Think about this: I'm TOO skinny to be a male model....well I'm too ugly too, but that's besides the point!!

I enjoyed the poem....don't stress about how you look.....believe me.....when we're all nasty and smell like ben-gay at the age of 89....it's the inside that counts

I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust.
