Ode to Time |

Here, the time runs in circles instead of forward, at a constant pace weaving whirlpools for space that has nothing to offer, except maybe a tear which still clings to the lashes afraid of leaving, and that’s all that is here, and that’s all that’s living. The rest is ashes. The hands stir the broth on the face of the clock,-- in the empty kettle. The drawback of growth is its need for matter which it seems to lack. Gradually, the time has eaten all that there was, grew thinner... And now, it hungers for the apples of Eden, and walks among us seeking its dinner. |

I thought this was extremely well done. I loved the ending. Well done. I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. |
