People whispering Behind my back. I turn to face them, They smile back. They think I didn't hear What they had to say, "What kind of freak Could hurt herself that way? It's for the attention That's the word going around." Though I never showed it off, And never meant for it to be found. Why can't people Just mind their own business? They didn't care before, Why is this any different? Now I walk around With another label on your soul For people to laugh at... TOG: This can be a very painful thing. Although I do not think that I have ever done what you are describing, I certainly am an oddball. It comes with being slightly strange in the brain. I do not like going into details about my fateful and curious curse, but it does have a tendancy to destroy my social interactions. I am not skilled in the social things. I know how you are feeling. But remember this, many have gone down the path of cynicism as I have. It apparently is not a good thing for you. Try to turn from cynicism. I never considered doing that while I began to hate humans. I hope you have better luck than I did. "If history is to change, let it change. If the world is to be destroyed, so be it. Labels do suck. Everyone gets em' in High School.You can change your labels with some work. But once you graduate, labels don't matter anymore, and the people that used to talk bad, won't even be there to talk at all. Jon "Your anger is a gift"-Rage Against The Machine |

I know labels still do affect us even when others say that all that matters is what we think of ourselves. But, the last thing you need to do is listen to people who really don't know you.
