"My Wish” As I gaze up I look within To the stars above I make my make a wish I close my eyes To open them and find Every star at once So my wish may come sooner in time I wish upon then all With same desire For the one who fills my soul And fuels my hearts fires My wish is simple My wish is true For you see my wish is To be with you. It's too bad I'm not as wonderful a person as people say I am, because the world could use a few people like that. You know, there's no way for me to see a poem about wishing and not comment... well, there's also a rare occasion for me to see a poem about water and fail to comment, but I like commenting on wishful poems because there just aren't enough wishful people out there anymore... we need more wishful people! ^^ I like this poem! hehehe It's cute! Very cute! And it goes into the little library that I'm starting up... Yesh! I love poems about wishes... it's an evil bias that I can't control, but I just love poems about wishes!!! I would love to see more poems about wishes if you ever want to write any more. *grins* Once again, I adored the poem! It was simple... it wasn't elegant or profound, but it is very cute, and that earns major bonus points. ^^v We have so many deep emotional poems, but very few innocent poems that just make you starry-eyed and say that it's a cute poem! hehehe! I hope you don't take the word "cute" as some kind of insult or something... oO; Anyways, once again, CUTE poem! hehehe If you write more, be sure to post it here! this is a really sweet poem, the last stanza especially is cute. keep posting all your work. Sometimes, the things that go unsaid are the only things worth hearing. |

Very well done on this poem. I enjoyed it greatly! You seem to be in love! Look at all the love poems.....geesh.  I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. |
