I see you from a distance,
my heart starts to pound.
I blink my eyes quickly,
you are nowhere to be found.

I detect your scent,
my nose, it would not lie.
But I can't seem to find you,
no matter how I try.

I can feel your touch,
warm upon my skin.
Sending shivers down my spine
and the room begins to spin.

My lips taste sweet and moist,
fresh from your loving kiss,
my knees begin to weaken
impacting me with sudden bliss.

I can faintly hear your voice,
but it is so far away...
I slowly awaken from my dream
to begin another day.

Somehow this seemed like a very dark romantic poem to me.... which I really really like.

Give her two red roses, each with a note. The first note says "For the woman I love" and the second, "For my best friend."

I'll admit, it wasn't a dream. I did sneak into your room that one night and kiss you.

I liked the poem. Thought it rocked.
