A True Friend (Dedication) |

This poem is dedicated to a person from Passions. He should know who he is. He gave me some good advice (which I needed) even though he knew that I would probably be disappointed . To me that took 'guts' and for that I dedicate this poem to him. A true friend will stick by you Through trials and tribulations No matter what the conclusion He'll be there telling you what to do He's someone who is always there And will tell me the truth Not worrying about me being brute Even knowing it's not what I want to hear I was disappointed at what he first said But I know he said it for my own good I'm glad he did what he thought he should For his words became comforting as I read Trust is hard to come onto And true friends are even harder to find I have found a true friend in my mind 'Cause the true friend I have found, is you. Every action of our lives touches some chord that will vibrate in eternity. |

Thanks for a sweet poem, Starr. It brought a smile to my face, it really was tough to give you the news and I was worried you'd be very upset afterwards but hey... I thought you deserved to know the truth. I'm sure many of us have been in this situation. For all you curious people, wondering what I'm on about, read this thread. ~Allan Build a man a fire, and he's warm for a day. Set a man on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life. ~Unknown [This message has been edited by Allan Riverwood (edited 04-24-2001).] |

This is a great dedication to a friend. Just make sure that this person knows who you are writing to, so he doesnt overlook it! *~*Amanda*~* |
