Why are people not respected For being different and being who they are Who am I you ask yourselves I am the purple flower in the patch of red tulips I am the proud brunette with brown eyes Among the blond and blue eyed I am the person you laugh at in the hall But the only difference I see is I respect myself you do not What makes you think you are better then me What gives you the right to critisize who I am I choose to be different I don't want to be the same Because I can't be cramped and crunched and a clone I need to be my own person I hope you understand Even though I am my own person I want to be respected I need to be me (this be one of the first poems that i shared with anyone and i thought i would now share it with u guyz i will remind u this poem is about 3 years old tell me what ya think  )as u go in life there will be ur hardships it is up to u if it makes u or breaks u. |

well i am kinda slow but i will third that opinion scarlet you are an awesome person stay who you are and dont change cuz an idiot tells you your not good enuff or your weird, weird is a good thing it means you are who you are and thats all who you are and all you shall ever be and others are just gonna have to deal with the fact that you are just super cool and awesome and thye are just jealous of you bein you scarlet i love you super much hun *hugs* bye bye i am what i am and that is all that i am and all that i shall ever be......so deal with it |

The only thing I can say is what Godsend did. You should never feel like you have to change who you are for someone else. And if you feel that way, then these people aren't your friends and aren't healthy influences. *hugs* You seem like a very cool person.. stay that way  Very nice poem you have here.. I enjoyed this VERY much.....well lemme let you in on a little secret...I dig brunettes with brown eyes.....that whole blonde hair,blue eye stuff doesn't cut it....hehe Well anyway....I really liked the poem....always stay true to yourself.  I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. |
