Officer. March into battle, Let them see the colours fly, Stop still with a drum rattle, Silhouetted against the sky, Straighten up the line, And let the cannon’s fire, Every thing will be fine, Don’t tell me, I’m a liar, Look out for the infantry, As the clamber up the slope, Defeat them with your musketry, And they haven’t got a hope, Watch the horses gallop, Here comes the cavalry, They charge up here and reach the top, A false sense of bravery, They’re torn apart by tight knit squares, Like a hedgehog in defence, It’s not like the horses at the fair, These won’t jump over this prickly fence, Hear the cannon roar out loud, It smashes through the ranks, The Officer, Gentleman does sit proud, And his men, give praise and thanks, March in past the gates of hell, And past the jaws of death, Pick yourself up if you ever fell, Or die trying with your final breath. Andrew. " No Army can conquer a galaxy, yet faith alone can overturn the universe." |

Wonderful job on this one. I liked it a lot I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. |

This is REALLY well done. i liked this a lot. you painted the scene perfectly and the flow was good throughout. very nice. Sometimes, the things that go unsaid are the only things worth hearing. |

Hey, You know I really have to start getting to your poems first they said what I was so until your next poem -- Linc "Once you reach your original goal it seems that the journey was your real accomplishment." |
